About
Finbarr NolanThere are stories of cures and
Healers throughout Irish History
But the most famous
Healer of all was born in the little village of Loch Gowna
in Co. Cavan in the summer of 1952 His name is Finbarr
Nolan. The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
Finbarr began his work as a contact healer when he was only
two years old. People had come to his mother from the day he
was born, knowing the legend of the Seventh Son of a Seventh
Son. At first Finbarr only helped people in his own small
community but soon the news of his remarkable healing powers
spread outside Gowna. By the time Finbarr was 17 years of
age, as many as 5000 people a week from all over Ireland
were coming to see him. Since then he has visited Great
Britain, Europe and the United States where his unique gift
has brought him to the attention of thousands of people who
have given up hope in conventional medicine.
Finbarr Nolan has appeared on radio and television shows
all over the world. In America when he was interviewed on
NBCs "Tomorrow" show the network was inundated
with thousands of telephone calls. In the early 70s the
legendary American newscaster Walter Cronkite sought out
Finbarr and featured him on not one but two segments of his
CBS broadcast. In 1974 the top BBC documentary series "Man
Alive" devoted a full programme to him. In 1988 BBC
Northern Ireland examined his healing powers on their "Forty
Minutes" programme and in 1989 He returned to the
television studios for the UTV chat show "Kelly"
hosted by Gerry Kelly.
